The car water tank, also known as a radiator, is a major component of the cars cooling system. Its function is to dissipate heat. Coolant absorbs heat in the water jacket, flows to the radiator where the heat is dissipated, and then returns to the water jacket for further circulation, thus regulating the temperature. It is an integral part of the car engine.
